How to Reduce Forehead Frown Lines Quickly and Naturally?
Frowning stretches skin around the muscles of forehead, mouth and between the eyes. They emerge due to tedious movement of the muscles under the skin and are also known as dynamic wrinkles. Elastin and collagen are the two proteins, which gives the skin, its thickness and ability to go back to its normal shape after stretch. These proteins start diminishing by the late twenties and as a result forehead frown lines appear. These lines mainly appear because of constant frowning or squinting although, these actions take a long time to leave their imprint on our face, but once a person starts aging the face skin starts thinning and loosing its natural moisture and elasticity and over time frown marks become visible. The other factors responsible for forehead frown lines are smoking, too much exposure to sun, stress, anxiety, tension, excessive work-load etc.

There are various ways to solve this problem; the most common of them is botox injections. They significantly reduce wrinkles, frown lines and their effect lasts for a few months. Botox injections are not permanent; they paralyze the muscles and work as filler to remove the wrinkles. The major drawback is that these injections are very expensive and they don't exactly provide a natural look. Other frown line treatments are fillers like hyaluronic acid, collagen and calcium hydroxylapatite; skin resurfacing techniques chemical peel, laser skin resurfacing, microdermabrasion and dermabrasion. Forehead frown lines can also be reduced by natural treatment; some of them are as follows:
Scrub forehead twice a week - Exfoliate dead cells of your skin by applying some good face scrub on your face and forehead. Follow it with a good moisturizer to keep your face skin hydrated. Scrubbing twice a week on regular basis will exfoliate skin, showing more visible results on your forehead and reducing wrinkles eventually.

Keep yourself hydrated - Drinking at least 8 to 10 glass of mild warm or plain water daily will not only keep your skin hydrated but also add extra glow to your skin. Maintain the habit of drinking enough water at your home or office even if you are very busy in your work.

Get the proper amount of rest- Try to get 7-8 hours of sleep a night. If you get enough rest, your body can produce more collagen and elastin. These substances can helps reduce the formation of of wrinkles on forehead and restore the youthful appearance looking skin

Eat healthy - Add healthy fat, rich protein, vitamins and mineral in your diet regularly, so as to avoid sagging of your skin and to do away with forehead wrinkles completely. Besides, eat plenty of fruits and green vegetables to keep your skin healthy, glowing and reducing the wrinkles. Take vitamin supplements, in case your daily diet is insufficient in fulfilling your nutrient requirements.

Coconut oil massage - Apply coconut oil smoothly on your forehead and massage it slowly and gently. This exercise is very effective in reducing forehead wrinkles.

Use good sunscreen lotion Apply liberal amount of good quality sunscreen lotion on your forehead, before stepping out in the sun while going for work or to other places. Use sunscreen which protects you from both UVB and UVA rays. Apply sunscreen in sufficient amount on your forehead, as it's most prone to sun burns which results in wrinkles.

Apply Wrinkle Cream - Apply a good quality anti-wrinkle cream that has AHA alpha-hydroxyl acids to your frown lines. These cream may get rid of dead skin cells, and promote the production of new skin cells.

Frequently Asked Questions

  1. QUESTION:
What is the best cure for Chicken Pox? What food/remedies would you reccomend?
This is urgent. My little sister just got the Chicken Pox one day ago and now their are signs that she has the Chicken Pox, the bad news is that school is one week away. What can I do to help my mom as well, but at the same time cure her before she goes back to school?

Also what are some home remedies and/or foods she can eat? Oh an does honey have any cure for it? Thank You so much, this is much appreciated.

    • ANSWER:
Sorry, there is no "cure" for chicken pox. In fact, it's getting a little unusual for kids to get them anymore because most are innoculated against it as 1 yr olds. Anyway, warm baths with Aveeno or oatneak in the water- to reduce itching- are soothing. Chamomile or even dried soap on the rash also reduces itching. Mild foods as you eat with any illness- chicken noodle soup, toast, applesauce, soft boiled eggs, and plenty of fluids are best. It's so great that you want to help your mom take care of your sister! A sick kid requires plenty of care! You could read your sister storybooks, color with her, or just sit with her and watch a movie or cartoons! Also, your mom would appreciate help with dishes or tidying up- but I'll bet you do those things already! I think therule is that they cn go to school after all the scabs are dried up- not necessarily gone, but like a dry scab. Check either with your pediatrician or call the school just to make sure. Good Luck!

    • ANSWER:
First of all congrats on getting married! I'm getting married myself on May 5, 2007 so I know what you mean!

Always check with your doctor before beginning any exercise and nutrition plan.
You need a good combination of aerobic activity and resistance training combined with a healthy diet. It is not recommended to lose more than 1-3 lbs a week. If you want to lose weight the correct and safe way that will stay off for the long-term, you need a good comprehensive exercise and nutrition plan.

A good program looks like this:

Always warm up and cool down

Muscular Strength & Endurance-you need a good resistance training program that includes exercises for all muscle groups (hips, chest, upper and mid back, legs (quads and hamstrings), shoulders, lower back, upper arms (biceps and triceps), calves, forearms, abdomen, and the gluteus maximus).
For muscular strength you need high weight and low reps. For muscular endurance you need high reps and low weight. Both are very important to a workout program and I would suggest you to change it out every couple of weeks or so.
For a beginner, your intensity should be 70-80% 1-RM or 8-12-RM, 8-12 reps, 1 or more sets, 3 times a week for 6 weeks or more when you begin a resistance program. You should begin with 1 exercise for each major muscle group and make sure the days you do resistance training are not consecutive meaning you don't exercise the same muscle group two days in a row. As you continue your program you can add more exercises, add weight, and change up your program to include more days or just work specific muscle groups on specific days. As your muscles grow stronger you will be able to reduce the rest time between each set. You should rest for about 30 seconds between sets.
As you begin to learn more about weight lifting and gain more strength you can begin to change your program to either target muscular strength or endurance.
For muscular strength you would decrease your reps and increase your weight.
Start out trying 2 sets of 8 reps each and see how it works out. You can always add more reps but don’t go over 10 reps.
You should fatigue your muscles by the 8th rep, especially on the 2nd set. If you are not getting to the point of fatigue this means you need to increase the weight. If you are not able to correctly perform 2 sets of 8 reps then that means you need to decrease the weight.
For muscular endurance you would increase your reps and decrease your weight. You should try to do 2-3 sets of 12-15 reps.
Muscle is metabolically active and therefore when you gain muscle it burns more calories and helps to raise your metabolism.

      http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/kelly2.htm

Cardiovascular Endurance-This part is extremely important for fat burning and enhancing your overall cardiovascular performance. You need to include a warm-up and cool-down. In order to have an effective cardio plan you must first make sure you remain in your target heart rate zone for at least 30 minutes a day (you can start out doing this for 3 days a week and build up) and then you can build up to 45-60 minutes a day. This will seriously help to burn fat as well as raise your VO2Max which is basically a number that represents the capacity of your cardiorespiratory system. The higher the number the more efficient your cardio system is. You can learn more about VO2 at the following website.
      http://www.preventdisease.com/news/articles/vo2_max_how_fit_athlete.shtml
In order to determine your target heart rate, do the following:
      know these numbers:
      maximum heart rate= (220-age)
resting heart rate=(get this by counting your pulse for a minute when you first wake up in the morning)
heart rate reserve=(maximum heart rate-resting heart rate)
      then calculate training intensity:
      TI= Heart rate reserve x percentage(use 70%-85%) + resting heart rate
Now your training intensity number is important because this is the number you want to reach for a particular training intensity. This is the number your heart rate has to get to in order to be in the optimum cardio training zone.
You can perform the TI equation for 70% and then another for 85% to get a good range for your heart rate. This is your own personal target heart rate zone.
You can either count your pulse yourself or use a heart rate monitor while you are exercising. You can buy one at most electronic stores. I recommend the heart rate monitor because you don't have to do anything and it lets you know where you are. Some even beep when you reach your zone or when you go above it. Mine has a strap you put on under your clothes and a watch that shows you your heart rate as well as other things. Now of course, any type of heart rate monitor will not be perfect because there are factors that are not taken into account, but it is one of the most accurate ways to keep track of your heart rate that is easily available to the public.
Here is a website to help you calculate your target heart rate zone
      http://www.preventdisease.com/healthtools/articles/thr.html
Here is a good website for some information on how to measure your physical activity intensity
      http://www.cdc.gov/nccdphp/dnpa/physical/measuring/met.htm
Now, I needed to tell you all of that so I can let you know what cardio activities will fit this type of requirement.
The following are great activities for a good aerobic plan:
cycling, jogging, running, walking, rowing, stair climbing, elliptical machine, aerobic dance, bench step aerobics, hiking, in-line skating, skiing, rope skipping, swimming, and water aerobics.
Any of these activities are acceptable only if you make sure your heart rate stays within your target heart rate zone. This does not count your warm-up or cool-down either. You need at least 30 minutes within your zone for the best benefits because for most people your body does not begin to burn fat until you have been working aerobically in your heart rate zone for at least 30 minutes. Of course all exercise is good for you, so even if you do not make it to your heart rate zone, it still is good for you and there will be benefits from it. Just work your way up, start slow, and you will be gradually improving your body's cardiovascular performance and burning fat. Once your body gets used to performing aerobically it will begin to burn fat faster than someone who is not on a cardio program.

You can find calculators at the following website to calculate about how many calories are burned by different activities.

Or if you prefer, you can begin a jogging program
      http://preventdisease.com/fitness/fitness_jogging.html

Body Composition-this includes your body fat percentage, bone frame, as well as how much muscle you have. Most people focus on only weight, but you should not put as much focus on that as much as what your body fat percentage is (get it tested at an exercise facility with skinfold calipers). You should also get circumference measurements done. This includes your neck, shoulder, chest, waist, abdominal, hip (buttocks), thigh (proximal), thigh (mid), thigh (distal), knee, calf, ankle, arm (bicep), forearm, and wrist. You should be able to do this at a gym. You should get all of this information done before you start your program and then you can see how you improve.
You can calculate an estimate of your body composition and target weight here:

The following website will help you to understand a little more about body composition

Flexibility- Most people do not even think about this, but it is very important because it helps to prevent injury and it helps you to perform every day activities. It also has an effect on all your other programs. You should perform 10-12 flexibility exercises every day. Slowly stretch the muscle to a point of mild discomfort but not necessarily pain. Hold stretch for 10-30 seconds, and do 3-5 reps for each stretch. This should take about 15-30 minutes per session. If you do not have time to do this every day, try to do it 2-3 times a week.

Diet- You have to make sure that you eat right and that means following the food guide pyramid. All those low carb diets or fad diets out there will not help you lose weight safely. You can read more about the risks of low carb diets at the following website
      http://www.preventdisease.com/news/articles/032006_low-carb.shtml
Know that 1 lb. of fat is equal to 3,500 calories. So if you eat 500 calories less per day for a week than you normally would (by either cutting back or changing what you eat or even by burning 500 calories from exercise) that is 3,500 calories and you should lose 1 lb. that week. I know that does not sound like a lot, but it is a proven fact that you should not lose more than 1-3 lbs. per week because it is not safe nor does it stay off. If you work to lose 1-3 lbs a week then it is much more likely to be the safe way and will stay off for long-term if you continue to live a healthy lifestyle.
I do not like the word diet because most people think of a diet as a short-term way of losing weight when the most effective way of losing weight is to completely change your lifestyle.
Here are some ways to change the way you eat:
Always follow the food guide pyramid with focus on fruits and vegetables and lean meat such as chicken or fish.
Make sure you get enough fiber and water in your diet. You should get 20-30 grams of fiber every day along with plenty of water. You can go to the following websites to learn more about fiber and tips on how to get more in your diet.

Get your carbs from complex carbohydrates (pasta, rice, grains, cereals, potatoes, dried beans and peas) that contain whole wheat. Try as much as you can to stay away from saturated and trans fat because they are both bad for you and should be consumed as little as possible. A lot of people also focus on high protein but in reality you only need .8 grams of protein for every kilogram of your body weight.
People who are on a resistance training program may consume up to 1.2 grams of protein for every kilogram of body weight.
So for me I weigh 135 lbs. and I figure my body weight in kg as follows:
      135 divided by 2.2= 61.4 kg
      61.4 kg x .8= 50 grams of protein a day.
      61.4 kg x 1.2=74 grams of protein a day.
My range is 50-74 depending on my exercise level.

    home remedies for food poisoning?
My mum has been feeling really sick lately, and i'm almost 100% sure she has food poisoning. We were hoping that there were any home remedies we could try at home before seeing a doctor. Unfortunately most of the websites i'v tried weren't much help. Any suggestions? All answers are greatly appreciated.

    • ANSWER:
Well- beware of ''phone medicine''- to begin with...
Anyway- inasmuch as- it's about loose stools and /or nausea or vomitng... a dairy- free, fruit and vegetables- free diet- i mean no milk products, no fruit and vegetables for a couple of days...no sweet or sweetened beverages- but plenty of drinking water- either plain or mineral or soda...fresh roasted or cooked meat, fresh boiled eggs, boiled rice, boiled potatoes...for a couple of days... if there is fever or ongoing vomiting- she's got to be examined by a doctor- in real life with no delay- to rule out the need of electrolyte perfusion - to prevent dehydration...if bloody stools are seen- get to the doctor at once! inasmuch as abdominal pain is noted- get to the doctor there!

  15. QUESTION:
what are some natural food remedies for constipation?
    for children under 2.

    • ANSWER:
Depends on how old - if just turning one then the options might be a little different than, say, a child who is almost two. Depending on the child's ability to chew, here are some ideas:

Raisins (my little ones eat a small box almost every day)

Carrot sticks (cut up the "mini carrots" into 4 pieces to make smaller sticks)

Raw Apple (cut it and slice it - I prefer to peel the skins for small children, my friend leaves it on - it's up to you)

Grapes (frozen or fresh - just be sure to cut them in half so they're not a choking hazard - my children LOVE the frozen grapes, they taste like popsicles, only they're natural)

Citrus fruit (oranges - grapefruit, etc. - we got an 18 lb bag of grapefruit at meijer and after a few days I realized my children were getting a little too much - they had loose bowels)

Crackelin Oat Bran Cereal (it's perfect for that age and your child can eat it dry. My youngest LOVES this cereal)

Spinach or other canned "greens" (my youngest prefer the spinach because it's plain. Momma likes the Old Glory greens because they are seasoned - but the effect is the same - it helps them go)

Plenty of juice (we usually dilute juice at my house - mostly water w/ a little juice to flavor - but when there's constipation, we use more juice - like half and half - if you're desparate - use straight juice)

If you're into supplementation - a little extra Vitamin C (try cutting chewables to small sizes and give frequently during the day) or liquid Chlorophyll will do the trick. We only use Nature's Sunshine liquid Chlorophyll because my children love it (my 12 yr old said only to get that kind). It tastes like mint gum. Chorophyll is a natural detoxifier and digestive aid, cleanses the intestines, and the body in general. For smaller children I do no more than a teaspoon a day. When my youngest was 6 mo. old, he got 1/4 tsp a day - for an idea.

      ********
The main thing is to integrate these types of things into your child's diet on a regular basis. These are normal, daily fare at my house and my 4-yr-old has only been constipated twice. My 2 yr-old has never been constipated. It helps, too, to reduce the amount of refined flours and sugars because those things will stop you up (i.e. pop tarts, toddler "puffy" snacks, sugar cereals, white bisquits, white bread, white pastas, etc.).

    • ANSWER:
you are going to have to wait it out. DONT take pepto bismol or anything like that. It will just slow down your system and make it take longer. I have heard that a bath in epsom salt helps but have never tried it myself. You can take some benadryl to help with the rash if you haven't already

What are the remedies -medicine,creams or food, to premature graying hair? Look @ a person of less than 40 yrs?

    • ANSWER:
Home Remedies for Premature Greying of Hair
Premature Greying of Hair home remedies and natural cures, Questions and answers

Premature Greying of Hair treatment using Indian Gooseberry
The use of Indian gooseberry is the foremost among the home remedies found beneficial in the prevention and treatment of premature greying of hair. This is a valuable hair tonic for enriching hair growth and hair pigmentation. The fruit, cut into pieces, should be dried, preferably in shade. These pieces should be boiled in coconut oil till the solid matter becomes like charred dust. This darkish oil is very useful against premature greying. The water in which dried indian gooseberry pieces have been soaked overnight is also nourishing for the hair. This water should be used for the last rinse while washing the hair. Massaging the scalp every night with a teaspoonful of indian gooseberry juice, mixed with a teaspoon of almond oil and a few drops of lime juice, also proves beneficial in the prevention and treatment of premature greying of hair.

Premature Greying of Hair treatment using Amaranth
Amaranth is another effective home remedy for hair disorders. Application of the fresh juice of the leaves of this vegetable helps the hair to retain its black colour and prevents it from premature greying. It also helps the growth of the hair and keeps it soft.

Premature Greying of Hair treatment using Curry Leaves
Liberal intake of curry leaves is considered beneficial in preventing premature greying of hair. These leaves have the property of providing vitality and strength to hair roots. New hair roots that grow are healthier and contain a normal pigment. The leaves can be used in the form of spicy condiment, or may be squeezed in buttermilk. When the leaves are boiled in coconut oil, the oil forms an excellent hair tonic to stimulate hair growth and bring back hair pigmentation.

Premature Greying of Hair treatment using Ribbed Gourd
Ribbed gourd boiled in coconut oil is also an effective remedy for premature greying of hair. Pieces of this vegetable should be dried in the shade. These dried pieces should be soaked in coconut oil and kept aside for three or four days. The oil should then be boiled till the solid is reduced to a blackened residue. This oil should be massaged into the scalp. It will help enrich the hair roots and restore pigment to the hair.

Premature Greying of Hair treatment using Butter
The butter made from cow's milk has the property of preventing premature greying of hair. A small roll may be taken internally and a little quantity may be massaged into the hair roots twice a week.

Premature Greying of Hair treatment using Vitamins
The vitamins considered useful in guarding against premature greying of hair are pantothenic acid, para-aminobenzoic acid (paba), inositol. The minimum daily requirement of these vitamins appears to be 10 mg of pantothenic acid, 100 mg of para-aminobenzoic acid, and 2 gm of inositol. To obtain satisfactory results, all three of these vitamins belonging to the B group should be supplied at one time, preferably in a form which supplies all the B vitamins, such as yeast and liver. The three anti-greying-hair vitamins can also be produced in the intestinal tract by bacteria. Thus, taking a sufficient quantity of yoghurt daily and a tablespoonful of yeast before each meal is an excellent remedy for the prevention and treatment of premature greying of hair. If one wishes to take tablets of calcium pantothenate and para-aminobenzoic acid (paba), they should be taken in addition to the yeast and yoghurt, and not as a substitute for them.

Dietaries for Premature Greying of Hair
Premature Greying of Hair : Home Remedies suggested by users
      Take nutrients rich diet
Diet is of utmost importance in the prevention and treatment of premature greying of hair and persons suffering from this disorder should take a diet rich in all essential nutrients.

Avoid devitalising foods, soft drinks etc
Devitalising foods such as white flour, refined sugar and all products made from them, soft drinks, pastries, jams and jellies should be avoided. These foods take away energy, cause wrinkles, unattractive skin, grey hair, and premature old age.

Other Premature Greying of Hair treatments
Massage of scalp with almond oil
Massage of the scalp with almond oil is recommended.

Are there any natural remedies to the problem of coughing while eating because food went into your trachea?
I've had this problem for a few years (people say that it's from talking while eating or eating too fast...but it happens even when I'm not talking or eating too fast) but now it's gotten worse such that the cough is kicking in the gag reflex. Kind of depressing.

  29. QUESTION:
Anyone have any home remedies for food poisoning?

    • ANSWER:
      Hi there,
Make sure you keep drinking clear fluids, like water, to keep your body hydrated in the event of diarrhea or vomiting.

I would keep Imodium and/or Pepto Bismol handy to alleviate any extra symptoms. Also keep Lysol or antibacterial surface cleaner around to rid any surfaces of infection. (Believe it or not, people can get ill from E.Coli and other bacteria by touching an unclean surface before preparing or eating food, in addition to eating undercooked food.)

For food/drink options during recovery, try the BRAT diet (Bananas, Rice, Applesauce, Toast) along with easy fluids like water and ginger ale, in order to get your upset stomach back in order.

Make sure to dispose of any extra food that made you ill.

      Good luck!!

  30. QUESTION:
Do you know any home remedies for straighter hair?
I want to make my hair straighter without having to use a straightener or buying expensive hair products, or getting it chemicallystraightened. Do you know any home remedies(food products, etc) that would gradually relax my curls?
hmmm. i really thought you could. somebody talked about putting a mixuture of coconut and lime juice in your hair.

    • ANSWER:
No, sorry. I do, however, use a straightener just about every other day and I've come to learn that if you use the right heat protection products, it won't take you too long and the damage done to your hair is very minimal. Currently I'd recommend the Special FX 'Straighten Out' Hair Gel.

I have heard that Bumble and Bumble Hair Straightening Cream works pretty well too, though, depending on your hair type. Just add a blow dryer and head full of wet hair, no straightener required.

    • ANSWER:

  34. QUESTION:
How to cure fatty liver without medicine? what food intake or any other activity or home remedies?

    • ANSWER:
The most effective way to cleanse the liver is to consume green leafy vegetables on a daily basis along with a healthy, low fat, high fiber diet. Walking done at least 20 minutes a day, also helps the liver release toxins and remove excess fatty deposits in the body.

There are some medicinal drinks that are included in the macrobiotic lifestyle which help to heal the liver and reduce internal fat deposits around the vital organs, of which the liver is one. For these drinks to be beneficial, you would need to follow a vegetarian diet, as meat and cheese as well as high fat consumption interferes with the body's natural ability to heal itself.

The drink itself is included in Michio Kushi's book, The Macrobiotic Way. It consists of one tablespoon of finely grated carrot, one tablespoon of finely grated Daikon radish (a long white Japanese radish), 1/4 sheet of organic Nori, (the seaweed that they use in making sushi) and 12oz. of cold water. Grate the radish and carrot into a small pan large enough to hold the water. Tear up Nori into small pieces, add a few drops of Shoyu Soy Sauce for flavor. Bring to gentle rolling boil and turn off, letting the vegetables sit and steep in the water for 5-7 minutes. Pour into a cup and drink the liquid and eat the vegetables by chewing them well. Chewing your food thoroughly is an important process in helping to eliminate waste by making digestion easier. This should be done in the evening, before bed. It's rather like a vegetable soup in flavor.

Milk Thistle is also a way to help the liver cleanse itself. You can purchase these capsules from any health food store. Follow the directions on the label. If you are allergic to the dandelion family, do not pursue this avenue of healing. When at all possible, try to buy organic vegetables, as there are no chemicals which make it more difficult for your body to cleanse itself. There's no reason to add more things for your body to deal with as it's trying to cleanse and heal.

I hope this helps. Good luck on your way to health!

  35. QUESTION:
Is there any difference in pet Homoeopathic remedies than the ones you buy from the local health food shop.?
I have been buying Hepar sulph 30c from a pet store online, for my dogs for a few years now, i have run out and they sell Hepar sulph in 6c in my local health food shop, i wanted to know if i can use these for my dog also what would the doseadg be for the 6c, thanks Suzie

    • ANSWER:
The remedies are the same for Humans and Animals. Though not all of the Homeopathic remedies can be used for animals some of them have extremely adverse affects on animals you have to be an experienced Homeopath to treat animals. ARSENICUM ALBUM works wonders in Skin disease of Dogs found it 100% affective in mange so is SULFUR where itching is concerned ARNICA works wonders in treating injuries and trauma and lame horses CALENDULA works wonders in deep gashes and wounds use it in Q (mother tincture potency) BELLADONNA cures spasms and convulsions in almost minutes for thorns and and glass shreds deep in the skin SILICEA in 6X works wonders and so on. NUX VOMICA works wonders for digestive ailments CARBO VEG remedy par excellence in bloating.
The regular dosage for 30C and potencies lower then 30C i.e 3C,6C,12C is 3 times a day 200 once a day, IM once a week, CM once a month. In animals usually potencies 30 and lower ones work better. And don't mind the paid goons of the pharmaceutical industry they are just good for giving Thumbs Down to all Alternative medicine answers after all its the biggest threat to their livlihood they cant seem to grasp the meaning of the word CURE all they can do is peddle habit forming drastic chemicals which you have to take all your life one after the other and make you sicker then what you were before you started taking them and the have the audacity to call that stuff "Medicine". My pity for their intelligence and my heartfelt sympathies for their ignorance. God bless them with the wisdom to recognize truth where they see it
If you need any help treating your Dogs feel free to ask and I would be happy to help you.

      Take Care and God Bless

  36. QUESTION:
My mom just got diagnosed with advanced Ovarian Cancer, She is starting treatment soon. Any food suggestions?
I've heard that there are some foods or remedies that may be of help. Anyone have any ideas? I heard Green tea is good & so is apple cider vinegar. Any good food & helpful remedies appreciated. Thank you.

    • ANSWER:
If you want your mother to get better, then ignore everything you've ever read or heard suggesting that you can "treat" cancer with certain foods, because it is all bogus nonsense designed to sell books.

Green tea is a rich natural source of fluoride, which most of the people telling you cancer can be treated with food will tell you is a poison. Apple cider vinegar won't do you any harm, but again its "popularity" was created by someone trying to sell a book.

Your mother needs either surgery, chemotherapy, radiation, or a combination thereof...she should take advice from an oncologist, not a "natural remedies" quack.

You would not DREAM (I hope!) of trying to treat a broken leg with Green tea, apple cider vinegar, or magic Egyptian beans....why would it even cross your mind that you could effectively treat cancer with anything other than actual medicine?

Best wishes to your Mom, she'll be fine if she follows her doctor(s)' advice!

Any home remedies for food poisoning?
Started feeling ill last night around 11 pm and was in and out of the bath room and violently throwing up. I had sharp stomach pain and Im pregnant. Went to the ER ( I was concerned becuase im 32 weeks pregnant) and after being there for 6 hours they said it was food poisoning. On top of being pregnant I have gestational diabetes and have not eaten anything to day other then a few crackers that came right back out later.
Drs. Do not generally give out medicine for this. So I am looking for some home remedys I can try to help this go away as soon as possible. Maybe somebody knows of other ways to flush out the toxins.
I am trying to keep myself hydrated.

Looking for home remedies with house hold products....Not ideas on what kind of medicine to take or go buy at the store.

Please help. I hate this! =(

    • ANSWER:
I don't have any remedies, but I also had food poisoning a little over a month ago (I was right around 32 weeks, too) AND I have GD. The only thing I can recommend is to be sure to try to get your carbs in, even if it is only drinking sprite. I am diet controlled, but after vomiting and not eating or drinking, my blood sugars shot way up and I had ketones in the highest range and it took several days to get things back to normal.

Unfortunately, the best way to get rid of the toxins is what your body is already doing...vomiting.

Hope this passes soon...I know how miserable you feel.

How to prevent wrinkles? Home remedies? Foods? Lotions?
I don't really have any pronounced wrinkles but I feel them and I see the vague start of wrinkles. Maybe I'm too pararnoid but idk I feel that I am getting expression lines and crows eyes. I've heard of lotions for people that already have wrinkles but are there any lotions, home remedies, or foods I can eat to prevent them from forming in the first place? I know everyone gets them but is there something to delay the process?

    • ANSWER:
I found the most effective anti aging, wrinkle reducing/removing treatment was specialized quite vigorous massaging with oils. Pure olive, coconut and almond feed and nourish skin many nutrients that counteract aging. They are noncomedogenic so do not clog or enlarge pores, do not cause breakouts and do not make skin oily. Treatment has helped many on Answers.

Use both hands together and do vigorous forward and back massage using fingers and palms (where you can). Do forward and back massage - not circular. Gradually build up to 15 to 30 min daily (Can be in two or more sessions).as skin has to adjust. Even the fist day skin will be firmer tighter, and smoother. and wrinkles will reduce. 50. QUESTION:
Anyone know of natural remedies for improving blood circulation?
I am looking for information on herbal or any natural remedies. Foods or medicine.

    • ANSWER:
Cayenne powder dramatically increases the blood circulation, you can also take a liquid cayenne tincture. It must be over 100,000 heat units ''HU'' to be effective. There is only one place I know of that sells organic cayenne powder and tinctures that are 250,000 HU, and that is Herbdoc.com. If you put the cayenne powder in capsules be sure not to fill it more then half full, otherwise it will burn your stomach cause it's so hot if you over do it at on one dose.

Here is the site, scroll down to find the cayenne.
